Within the framework of the TRAINPOST distance-learning programme, which is based on a simpler and more user-friendly training approach, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) offers the participant trainees several important courses in the programme. One of them is dealing with Postal parcels. This course is made up of six modules which its aims consist :

  • To provide officials working in post offices with knowledge and skills required for accepting, dispatching and delivering parcels.
  • To reinforce the knowledge of staff working in offices of exchange and central accounting offices in the procedures relating to parcel accounting.
  • To equip the officials responsible for parcel post with required skills to improve quality of service in parcel post.
